Keep your eyes open for new videos debuting on CMT today. The 8-minute long version of Kenny Chesney’s “The Boys of Fall” will be seen, as well as Miranda Lambert’s new video for “Only Prettier.” Miranda’s video features guest appearances by Kelly Pickler, Hillary Scott, and Laura Bell Bundy who just so happened to come up with the idea for the video. The theme of the video mimics the film Grease, which Miranda watched quite often as a child.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! has acquired a portrait of Taylor Swift which is made from pink and white Good N’ Plenty candies. The picture will be on display in the Spring of 2011, at Ripley’s Hollywood Odditorium. Taylor’s portrait is accompanied by other famous faces including portraits of President Obama and Michael Jackson made from gumballs, Eminem and Elvis made from M&M’s, Beyonce and Marilyn Monroe made from licorice and gummy bears, and Lady Gaga created from 60-thousand Airsoft BB gun bullets.
And finally, following his 1700-mile trek across the country, Jimmy Wayne arrived at the Nashville airport on Wednesday. He expected to only see his drummer there to pick him up. Instead, Jimmy was greeted by over 60 people, half of which were foster kids. Jimmy said, “When I turned the corner and saw everybody … I was like, ‘Holy cow.’ I didn’t expect this. I’ve been gone seven months walking, and to come home to this is the best feeling.” The group cheered him on and held up homemade signs near the baggage claim area. Jimmy was in a wheelchair due to his broken foot.
