Grammy Winners in Las Cruces

Taylor Swift took home four trophies during last night’s Grammy awards and became the first Nashville-based solo artist and the youngest artist overall to win Album of the Year for Fearless. Prior to Taylor, rock artist Alanis Morissette had the title with her album 1996 album Jagged Little Pill. Taylor also took home Country Album of the Year (for Fearless), Best Country Song (for “White Horse”) and Best Female Country Vocal Performance (also for “White Horse”), sweeping the country categories in which she was nominated. With six to her name, Beyonce was the only artist to win more Grammys than Taylor last night. Taylor left for Australia right after the award show where she will kick off her Fearless 2010 Tour to Brisbane, Australia on February 4th.
