Chris Young at #1. Since winning Nashville Star, Chris Young has released four singles and finally reached the top of the charts. The much-requested “Gettin’ You Home” was written in about 45 minutes, took a slow journey through the charts, and ultimately landed as the new number one song this week.If you’re a fan of the classic duets of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, your ears are in for a treat. Kenny and Dolly are recording a new duet, “Tell Me That You Love Me,” which will be include in a new Kenny Rogers box set, The First 50 Years, which will be released on October 27th. Coincidentally, that’s the same day as Dolly’s box set release.
Toby on TV. To promote his new album, American Ride, Toby Keith will be making several TV appearances in coming days. Tomorrow night, 10/14, look for Toby on The Jay Leno Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live; Wednesday night 10/15, watch The Bonnie Hunt Show; and Thursday, 10/16, the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
