Planning for November

Mark your calendars for November 20th! Tim McGraw’s movie will be out, and Larry the Cable Guy will be on TV! Larry the Cable Guy's Hula-Palooza Christmas Luau holiday special will premiere on CMT with guest performers Billy Currington and the Zac Brown Band. The 90-minute variety show will also feature Saturday Night Live comedian Kenan Thompson, Caroline Rhea, George Lindsey, the MuzikMafia's Two Foot Fred, Tony Orlando and Angela Little MacKenzie. The holiday special will be available on DVD on November 24th.

Tim McGraw’s movie, The Blind Side, will be hitting theatres on November 20th as well. This is the film that tells the true story of Michel Oher’s journey to the NFL. Tim plays Sandra Bullock’s husband. In other Tim McGraw news, the new album, Southern Voice, sold almost 140-thousand copies its first week on sale. That was enough to grab the number one spot on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Rounding out the rest of the Billboard Country Albums chart is Taylor Swift’s Fearless at two, Zac Brown Band’s Foundation at three, Toby Keith’s American Ride at four, and Miranda Lambert’s Revolution at five.

Brad Paisley has wrapped his 2009 American Saturday Night tour, but not without some pranks…and dancing! Brad has posted a video online of himself, his crew and band dancing a Broadway style dance to the closing song from the Lawrence Welk Show. Brad stands front and center during the routine with about 50 members of his crew all wearing the same shirt while they perform several chorus line moves such as a high kick line. Dierks Bentley was chased around with lighters while performing “Feel That Fire” on the final night of the tour. Next, look for Brad to appear on the Late Show With David Letterman on Tuesday, November 3rd. He will be performing “American Saturday Night,” the title song from his project that is nominated for CMA Album of the Year.
