Kenny Chesney paid a special visit to his old stomping grounds last week as he visited the Gibbs High School football team in East Tennessee for a screening of his new documentary, The Boys of Fall. Kenny used to play for the team in the ‘80’s. Kenny told the football team, “You all grew up just like us. You drive the same road we drove, you obviously play on the same football field we played and walked through the same halls. It’s really a special time for me to come here and play you guys this. A game we all love.” Kenny’s football documentary premiered on ESPN on Sunday, and will re-air on September 12th.
