Taylor Swift has earned two nominations for Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards. Taylor is up for Favorite Female Singer, alongside Beyonce, Lady Gaga and her BFF Miley Cyrus. Her hit, “You Belong With Me,” is up for Favorite Song, competing against The Black Eyed Peas' “I Gotta Feeling,” Lady Gaga's “Paparazzi” and Miley's “Party in the U.S.A.” The 2010 Kids Choice Awards will air live, March 27th on Nickelodeon. ..... And how have things been on the Australian leg of the Fearless Tour? If you follow Taylor on Twitter, you may have seen her post telling fans about how she and her band went and fed wild possums after a concert. Although it was an innocent night of fun, the Australian Department of Sustainability and Environment issued this statement in response: “DSE advises people not to feed wild animals... it can disrupt their natural behavior and it can cause some animals to lose their natural fear of people, making them vulnerable to attack." Meanwhile, Taylor took time to shop while in Australia, and she purchased two ancient Chinese birdcages and a lavish Indian silk cushion.
