Tuesday Newsday

Keith Urban dropped by The Ellen Degeneres Show yesterday. Apparently Keith had told her staff he didn’t have a current picture of his daughter, Sunday Rose, so Ellen got creative and asked him to draw a picture of her. He drew a smile that exceeded the circle for her face because he says her smile is so big. He also gave her straight hair with curls at the end and told Ellen her strawberry blonde hair is starting to curl. After drawing big eyes and a pointy nose he admitted his drawing looked like “Kermit the Frog” and it’s a good thing he can play the guitar. Ellen then had him play “Only You Can Love Me This Way,” after informing Keith that particular song is what Kevin Jonas and his wife played for their first dance at their recent wedding.

It's better if you just watch it:

Country Music Hall of Fame member Carl Smith, one of the genre's most successful singers and entertainers during the 1950's, died Saturday at his home in Franklin, Tennessee. He was 82. He was married to June Carter from 1952 until 1957, and their daughter, Carlene Carter, went on to have her own country career. Carl's first No. 1 record, the near-million-selling "Let Old Mother Nature Have Her Way," came out in 1951.
