They say nobody buys CD’s anymore? Check out these big numbers that are coming in. Miranda Lambert had the top selling album last week with the release of her Revolution CD. … Lady Antebellum has received a platinum plaque for shipments of 1 million copies of their self-titled debut album. The album has also been certified Gold in Canada. Watch for the trio on The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien on Friday. They’ll sing the current single “Need You Now,” which has been announced as the title song for the next CD coming out in January. …. Also on TV, don’t miss Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on October 18th. That’s when the episode that Trace Adkins participated in will air. Trace and a team of volunteers traveled to Lancaster, Texas, to assist Carlton Marshall, who lost most of his mobility and all of his hearing after being shot in the neck while leading a Dallas Police Department SWAT team while serving a narcotics search warrant. The build will enable Marshall and his wife to continue their own volunteer work involving horseback riding therapy for children and adults with mental and physical challenges. … And finally, word is out that Brad Paisley has extended his American Saturday Night tour with 19 dates scheduled in early 2010. Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore will join the tour.
