UPDATE!!!!
As of 3pm (mountain time) Garth Brooks is at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas holding a press conference discussing the show he plans to put on. He says that he wants it to be a unique experience each night; will be policing any sort of media in the room; Trisha may or may not perform because there are no rules. It will be his show to do with as he pleases, so all attendees will recieve a special show. So far only 5 weekend shows have been announced; starting in December; on sale October 24th. More shows announced later; Garth wants to schedule one quarter at a time.

1st Newsbreak: Garth Brooks announced at a Nashville press conference that he is coming out of retirement. He indicated that he has no plans for recording or touring for another five years, but he will be performing again. No specific details were provided during the morning press conference. Members of the media were shuttled to a private flight to an undisclosed location. Futher details should be forthcoming this afternoon, but it is likely related to the rumors that he will be performing as a resident headliner in Las Vegas. Stay tuned.
