3 days and counting...

Just 3 days until Lyric Street recording artist and former American Idol Josh Gracin takes the stage at the Southern New Mexico State Fair. The show is Friday night, October 3rd, 10pm. The concert is included in fair admission. Here's a preview:

News from Around The Country:
Darius Rucker
is scheduled to be on The Late Show with David Letterman tomorrow night to sing his #1 hit, “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It.” Dierks Bentley and his wife Cassidy are expecting their first child any day now. We’ll be waiting for the happy word…. Carrie Underwood fans have two reasons to snatch up CD’s this fall. Carnival Ride is going to be re-released on October 21st as a Wal-Mart exclusive “premium version” with five new holiday tracks. And the Hushabye Baby CD series is going to include a volume of Carrie’s songs turned to lullabies. The series opens with CD’s dedicated to songs of Johnny Cash, George Strait, and Carrie. Coming soon are CD’s with the songs of Patsy Cline, Rascal Flatts and Vince Gill remade in lullaby arrangements. Word is out that Kenny Chesney is in talks with Constellation Spirits to develop his own brand of premium rum. The yet-to-be-named rum won't hit liquor stores until 2010. Though his image won't likely be featured on the bottle, he's expected to endorse the product and maybe even write a song about it.
