Call in the rodeo clowns. Ty Murray's about to get bucked off before the buzzer. Sorry, Ty. It’s time. The top four dancers have always been the top four dancers, and last night on Dancing With The Stars the top teams showed no reason why they shouldn’t be in the finals. Ty was sharply criticized for not dancing at the level of the others, but praised for improvement, which is where a lot of his credit is deserved. From marching through his very first dance to the footsy kicks of last night’s Tango, Ty proved that you can teach an ol’ cowboy to dance. Ty should also be credited with maintaining dignity for his much younger partner, Chelsie. Always the gentlemen, directing his gyrating Rumba solo to his wife, Jewel, was both cute and in good taste. In backstage comments, Ty was hoping his Rumba would pay dividends later; let's hope it worked out for them. Meanwhile, watch a re-play of week one. Who would have picked Ty Murray to be the next to last male standing next to Gilles? The final four will be announced on tonight’s results show. Shawn & Mark, Lil Kim & Derek, Melissa & Tony, and Gilles & Cheryl shouldn’t have to act like they’re so surprised. Likely to go next: Shawn & Mark. After that, it’s anybody’s game. Early on, it appeared as though Melissa and Gilles had the top two spots in a lock, but apparently, Lil Kim has her locksmith on speed dial. She’s been picking at the top spot for weeks now, so among the top three, it will be anyone’s game to lose.
