Not since Sabrina Bryan was eliminated the week she and Mark Ballas scored a perfect 30 have there been such shocking results on Dancing With The Stars. To begin with, it was quite telling that they admitted to revealing the bottom two this week. But when one of the bottom two turned out to be Lil Kim & Derek, it looked like somebody miscounted. Or there could have been a great spread of vote, and it was only out of technicality that somebody had to stand there as the second couple. The judges clearly wanted Ty & Chelsie eliminated, and it seemed as though everyone in the ballroom was braced for Ty’s name to be called, including Ty & Chelsie themselves. Instead, host Tom Bergeron called Lil Kim’s name and was met with a ripple of shock and boos from the audience. Ty Murray has made the final four! Clearly the rodeo community is a larger base of viewers than the rap community! How will Ty handle two more dances next week? Will he deliberately dance poorly, wondering, “How bad do I have to be to get voted off this show?” Or, will he steel himself for the task ahead and find a new determination to prove that he deserves a place in the finals? It could go either way. But with the way things have been going for Ty & Chelsie, maybe we should re-think our Top 3 predictions and prepare ourselves for another countrified freestyle number!
