Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush from Sugarland are joining Elton John, John Cusack, Donny Osmond, Marie Osmond, Demi Lovato, Bette Midler and Ellen DeGeneres in a national campaign to Stomp Out Bullying. Bullying is at an all time high in communities like our around the country. One out of four kids experiences bullying in person, 42 percent of youth say they’ve been bullied online. Look for Sugarland to add their voices and images to the campaign on TV, in print, on wristbands and more.

Mark Wills is also working on a charitable project. His new CD, Familiar Stranger, will be sold in a pre-sale promotional pack to generate donations for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals throughout North America. "Being a father of two healthy children, I'm always reminded of how blessed I am," says Mark. "I'm pleased to be working with an organization that goes the extra mile for children and I'm excited to help raise awareness and money for this much needed cause."

Dolly Parton has been named the 2009 Ambassador for the 75th anniversary of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There will be many events held next year to celebrate Congress' approval to form the park on June 15, 1934. Dolly grew up in the foothills of the Smokies in Tennessee's Sevier County, said she's always been an advocate for the park, but she is honored to become "official."
