Wednesday Update

Happy Half-Off Wednesday. Today’s half price offer is from Dick’s Café. Take 5-$10 certificates that can be used for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for only $25. Hurry to the main webpage while supplies last.

Re-set the DVR’s. CBS has decided not to broadcast The Early Show from Nashville – site of last night’s Presidential debate – this morning. That means Josh Turner, nor John Rich will be appear. The performances should be rescheduled; in the meantime, Josh is using his unexpected day off to go fishing – with the folks from Bassmaster and ESPN Outdoors.

News From Around The Country
Jessica Simpson will be taking over the opening slot on the Rascal Flatts tour after Taylor Swift’s run ends in November. And Jennifer Nettles is launching “Common Thread,” a new non-profit organization that will focus on the commonality of music, lifestyle and philanthropy. "I'm hoping that Common Thread will be a multi-genre diverse bill under the common thread of activism and community organization," Jennifer says. "I do believe that one action can cause a great ripple and make a difference. So, if you inspire some of your fans to go out into their own communities and effect change, then that's success."
