News From Around The Country
For the 10th anniversary of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, celebrities will be answering the trivia questions to raise money for their charities. Wynonna will be the only country star competing during the two week special series hosted by Regis Philbin. Snoop Dog, Lauren Conrad, Rachel Ray, and Shawn Johnson are among the other celebrities competing on the show.
Last week, much ado was made about bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley dissing Tim McGraw in his upcoming biography. Now it appears the whole issue is about nothing as the publisher has reported to cmt.com that any references have been deleted from the book.
And it’s also nice to read some good news, which a quiet man would probably prefer would stay discreetly in the background, but it’s out now. After a recent meet and greet at

And how’s this for stretching your wings? Lorrie Morgan is going to Broadway! Lorrie will play the role of “Lula,” the manager of Joe Nichols’ character, in the Broadway adaptation of Pure Country. By the way, the main character's name is being changed to "Rusty" rather than "Dusty."
