You Hate To Say I Told You So

The Randy Rogers Band is back in El Paso tonight. Check the concert section below to find the link to all the information about the show at Whiskey Dick’s.

Predictions came true last night when the bottom three were revealed on Dancing With The Stars. They’ve been hanging in the fray for weeks, and last night, Holly & Dmitry, Steve-O & Lacey, and Steve & Karina were made to stand under the harsh glare of the red light. What wasn’t predicted was the cancellation of the dance-off. Yay! Instead, producers went back to the encore dance which allowed viewers the chance to re-live Gilles & Cheryl’s sizzling Argentine Tango. Hot. Hot. Hot. If we have to see something again, it’s always better to see the perfect dance over one of three that stunk. It was no surprise that Holly & Dmitry were called out first, but between the Steve’s, smell-a-vision made its consumer debut because the viewers got a big whiff of Wozniack. The geek vote couldn’t save him. Steve & Karina were sent packing because Steve-O & Lacey were narrowly saved by the MTV crowd that still loves their Jacka$$. Nine couples remain in no particular order. The top four are obvious. Chulianne and Ty & Chelsie need to step it up if they want to place any better than 5th or 6th. Next week is another waltz or the Paso Double. If he gets it, the Paso should give Ty a chance to shine. Granted, bull riding is different than bull fighting, but what better way to let him be a tough, alpha male than with a dance where he imagines he’s in a ring with a bull? Waltzing would be cute for Chulianne, but they’ve done that. So perhaps Chuck Wicks will trade in his paper hat for the matador costume as well:

News From Around The Country
The ACM’s are on Sunday night. We already know two winners, which is great news for Brad Paisley, except for the fact that he is cheated out of more TV time. Brad has been consistently winning the video of the year categories at a lot the country awards in recent years, but they never televise his category. They just give him the award – in advance no less! “Waitin' On A Woman” (with Andy Griffith) is the Video Of The Year, and the Brad Paisley-Keith Urban duet “Start A Band” wins Vocal Event Of The Year. The flashy performances are set for Sunday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and while they're at it, maybe they might give out a few awards during the course of the award show.

Tonight on TV – April Fools! Jessica Simpson and LeAnn Rimes will appear on the April Fools Day special I Get That A Lot. Jessica acts as a computer repair woman and LeAnn serves breakfast. The Eli Young Band makes their national television debut tomorrow night (4/2) on ABC-TV's Jimmy Kimmel Live. They'll perform “Always The Love Songs” and “When It Rains,” the longest running independent single in chart history.
