This morning's technical snafus foiled, there is a bit of TV news to note as the music industry gets back to work this week after the holidays.
The People’s Choice Awards will be on CBS on Wednesday night. Representing country music are Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, and Jewel. Queen Latifah hosts. Then on Saturday night, Taylor Swift will join the short list of country artists who have appeared on Saturday Night Live. Neil Patrick Harris hosts the first new episode of ’09 with Taylor as the musical guest to sing “White Horse.” Other country artists who have done Saturday nights live in New York include Carrie Underwood, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, and Tim McGraw.
