Today is the Grand Opening celebration of Murphy Express, corner of Valley and Ave de Mesilla, and The Country Station was up early to celebrate! Grand opening gas prices are the lowest in the state today at Murphy Express. The organized chaos continues until midnight tonight. Will the prices drop lower than $1.45? It was crazy low!

Sunday, Faith Hill will sing “America The Beautiful” prior to Super Bowl kick-off. She will be one of only four people to have ever sung that song at a Super Bowl. She sang the National Anthem before the Super Bowl in 2000 but she says singing “America The Beautiful” is much more meaningful to her right now during the current economic crisis. As far as who she thinks will win the big game, she’s not saying anything other than she’s looking forward to a good game.
Toby Keith will launch a clothing line, TK Steelman, on Feb. 18 at his I Love This Bar & Grill in Las Vegas. The initial apparel is aimed at men, offering sleeveless shirts, long-sleeve shirts, T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, jeans, cowboy hats, baseball caps, bandanas, belts and leather wrist straps. A women's line is expected later. The merchandise will be directed toward retailers such as Kohl's, Walmart, Target and Macy's.
