The Tradition Continues....

2008 – Josh Gracin
Josh Gracin played to a packed and rowdy pavilion Friday night at the Southern New Mexico State Fair, proving country fans do not have a short memory when it comes to the yearly rotation of American Idols. Josh was in the cast of Idol in 2003, and in the last 5 years he has amassed several Top 10 hits and a number one song, "Nothin' To Lose," which was strategically placed at the end of the show. Along the way, fans were treated to the hits and selections from his two Lyric Street albums, Josh Gracin and We Weren't Crazy. Fans roared approval for the title song of the second CD, as well as "Stay With Me (Brass Bed)," "Unbelieveable (Ann Marie)," and "Favorite State of Mind." Although Josh did admit before the latter song that it was difficult to find a way to string New Mexico into the lyrics. Josh emerged in the back of the pavilion for the encore, and made his way through the crowd and back to the stage while he was singing, "Ain't Goin' Down Til The Sun Comes Up." Those that stayed until the end also got the opportunity to meet and greet with Josh, as he stayed to sign autographs at his merchandise table.
