Carrie Underwood is headed back to her old stomping grounds! She is scheduled to perform on FOX’s American Idol next Thursday night (5/3). Carrie won season four and still keeps up with the show. She's become close with last year’s
final two contestants – Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery. Carrie said, “I’m lucky.
I work with the same people they work with so I always hear about what they’re
doing before everybody else. I kinda have the inside scoop on their careers.
It’s really exciting to watch both of their careers take off and see these kids
grow up, and make music, and get to do what they’ve always wanted to do.” Also watch for Carrie on the cover of Glamour magazine’s
June issue. Inside she explains the “first big, irresponsible awesome
purchase” that she made after her career took off – a $2,000 sweatshirt! She
purchased it while in Paris and “didn’t understand the price tag.” Carrie’s
only worn it twice.
