Is It Monday Already?

Tonight on NBC's Dateline, watch for a two-part interview featuring Miranda Lambert. TV host Hoda Kotb sits down with Miranda, her husband Blake Shelton and the members of Miranda’s all-girl trio, Pistol Annies for the episode.

Carrie Underwood has a date with Tony Bennett. And no, Mike does not have to be jealous. Because Carrie can be heard singing “It Had to Be You,” with Tony on his new album, Duets II, as well as on the season two premiere of CBS’ Blue Bloods, she has been invited to join Tony live in concert on September 24th in Los Angeles. The performance will double as Tony’s 85th birthday celebration.

And finally, did you know that Jamaicans love country music? Get this. John Rich has co-produced an album that blends reggae music with country. The album, Reggae’s Gone Country, features reggae artists performing country music classics by artists such as Patsy Cline, George Strait, Kenny Rogers, George Jones and others. Look for the album beginning August 30th.
