Jerrod Niemann has ended Lady Antebellum’s six week reign at the top of the Billboard Country Album chart with his debut project Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury. Jerrod’s album sold more than 33-thousand copies it’s first week in stores and is the only country album found in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart.

Gretchen Wilson will serves as a spokesperson for earning a GED in a new public service advertising campaign which aims to reach high school dropouts in their mid-20s. Gretchen partnered with the Advertising Council and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation for the campaign. "People need the right tools to succeed and, at the very minimum, a major tool on the road to success is a high school diploma or GED," said Gretchen. "This campaign will go a long way toward educating people on how to take that first step to make a difference in their lives and the lives of their families, and I'm honored to be a part of it." Gretchen dropped out of school after the eighth grade and received her GED nearly 20 years later at age 34.
