E-day Doo-ay Wah!

Lady Antebellum recently recorded a special version of their hit “Need You Now,” for Sims 3. The trio recorded the song in “Simlish” which is the language spoken on the Sims game. The game also has characters that resemble each member of the trio. The first line of the verse should be “It’s a quarter after one, I’m all alone and I need you now.” In Simlish the line reads, “Yasser quirler appa wub Ya mala nobe emma neeba zow.”
Didn’t the toy Furby used to have its own language, too? Furbish? Although as we recall, there weren’t enough words available to form a complete sentence. (Post title translates to Good Fun!) The Sims must be a pretty advanced culture.

During a gala ceremony in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Taylor Swift's "Love Story" was named Song of the Year at the BMI Pop Awards. The award recognizes the song that received the most airplay during the past year. At 20, Taylor is the youngest songwriter to receive the honor and the first country winner since Faith Hill's "Breathe" earned the award for Stephanie Bentley in 2000. Other former winners from the country format include Shania Twain ("You're Still the One") and Dolly Parton ("I Will Always Love You"). "Love Story" earned BMI's Country Song of the Year honors in 2009, and "Teardrops on My Guitar" won the same award in 2008.
