Preparations are underway, and in the days leading up to the big night, several events take place. One such event can be found on television. A country-themed episode of The Price Is Right will air on Friday, April 16th, featuring special appearances from Blake Shelton and Bomshel. Each artist will present a prize, and Blake jokes that he plans to take the role of modeling during the “Half Off,” segment. …. Then on Saturday, The Academy of Country Music is partnering with the USO for a free, private concert for service members and their families at Nellis Air Force Base outside of Las Vegas. The ACM Lifting Lives show will feature Dierks Bentley, Montgomery Gentry, Randy Houser, James Otto, Anthony Smith and Josh Thompson. ….. Meanwhile, though not related to the ACM’s, Kenny Chesney will premiere his upcoming film Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3-D this Saturday at a Las Vegas Cinema. The red carpet event will stream live on kennychesneymovie.com. The movie will have a limited release starting next Wednesday.
