State of the Stage Report

The Academy of Country Music has added more artists to its upcoming Brooks & Dunn tribute concert. Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Taylor Swift and Sugarland have all joined the list of performers, along with previously-announced entertainers Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.. ACM Presents: Brooks & Dunn -- The Last Rodeo will be filmed April 19th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The special will air on CBS on May 23rd .

Rascal Flatts is done and Carrie Underwood is just getting started. After 57 shows in 8 months, The Flatts’ Unstoppable Tour wrapped up in Houston on Wednesday night. The trio played to more then 800-thousand fans. …. Last night was opening night for the Play On Tour in Reading, Pennsylvania. Carrie’s tour will include more than 50 dates in the U.S. and Canada. It’s said to be quite the production; during one part of the show, Carrie flies out over the audience. The tour has hired Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” production designer Michael Cotten and Emmy award winning costume designer Soyen An from So You Think You Can Dance. Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia are opening the show.

Lady Antebellum has released their 100th Webisode Wednesday video, a series on their website which features behind-the-scenes moments. In honor of the milestone, Lady A is asking fans to submit reenactments of their favorite video. Hmmm…
