Labor Day Weekend
Recording Artist John Arthur Martinez brought his band to town and entertained the crowds at the Harvest Wine Fest over Labor Day Weekend. Local JAM fans, as well as family and friends who hold a local connection to the drummer in the band, filled out the entertainment tent at the Wine Fest grounds. Martinez and the band performed throughout the afternoon with radio hits, classic covers, and selections from the upcoming album Purgatory Road. The new album is not to be released until next week, September 15th, and is currently only available via pre-order on various internet sites. However, Apache Ranch Records granted special permission for Wine Fest attendees in Las Cruces to be the first to purchase a copy of the album. John Arthur signed copy #1 in Las Cruces.
