Country music artists raise big money for charity. The Annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic raised over $55,000 for Ally’s House, the Oklahoma pediatric cancer center for patients and their families. More than 40 of Toby’s sports and music celebrity friends participated in the sixth annual event. Meanwhile, in Pebble Beach, Clay Walker and his friends raised over $56,000 for Band Against MS with his 2nd Annual Charity Classic Golf Tournament. BAMS funds are used for research as well as to fund education for those living with MS.
Rascal Flatts fans with plenty of time on their hands will soon have enough to do on the internet to keep them busy for hours. The Flatts are the first country artist to offer an iTunes Pass which allows access to exclusive content. Take the time to browse through live recordings, lost demos, studio rehearsals and more. It all starts July 21st and then new audio will be released each week through the rest of the summer.
