The release date has been announced for
George Strait's 38th album.
Twang drops August 11th. The new album was recorded in the same place as the last two, Shrimpboat Sound Studio in Key West, with producer Tony Brown at the controls. You’ve already been hearing the first single from the new CD on The Country Station. “Living For The Night” was co-written by George, his son Bubba Strait and Dean Dillon. Yes, George had a hand in writing the song, the first time he’s gotten writing credit since his 1982 debut song, “I Can’t See Texas From Here.” George says, "We had a great time writing with each other and then Dean adding his magic made it even more special. I hope the people that buy this record have as much fun listening to it as I had making it."
