This November in Washington, D.C., Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will perform during Country United: Advancing Medicine from the Frontlines to the Homefront, an event to support the nation's wounded warriors. The symposium and gala are supported by the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine and the Tug McGraw Foundation. Tim and Faith are co-chairing the event that will raise money to help advance medical care and improve quality of life for service members and civilians. Faith is also scheduled to provide the keynote address.

Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry is rocking a new look at concerts. At a performance in Louisville, Kentucky over the weekend, Troy appeared with his hair was spiked into a funky do and his eyes were rimmed with guy-liner. When asked about his new look, he said that his stylist is a big fan of American Idol and apparently of Idol runner up Adam Lambert. Kellie Pickler has another pet. Her boyfriend Kyle surprised her with a blue-eyed puppy. The new dog’s name hasn’t been announced yet, but does join Kellie’s cat, Moo-Moo the Chihuahua and Boots the snake. Miranda Lambert raised $120,000 for the Humane Society of East Texas during her 2nd Annual “Cause for the Paws” concert. Carrie Underwood is going to have her own exhibit at The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Included in the exhibit is the merlot silk taffeta gown that Carrie wore at the 2009 Academy of Country Music Awards, where she became both Female Vocalist Of The Year and Entertainer Of The Year. The exhibit will be open the rest of 2009.
