CMA Music Fest continues ... activities have been going on throughout a day that began with a torrential rainstorm that delayed Gretchen Wilson's opening performance and sent 3000 soaked fans running for cover. In the drier confines of the Fan Fair Hall, artists and their fans spent the day in mutual admiration. Keeping substantial crowds gathered on opposite sides of the hall were Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire. Spotted throughout the autograph area: Bucky Covington, Jason Aldean, Richie McDonald, Neal McCoy, Chris Young, Naomi Judd, Rodney Atkins, and Chuck Wicks, among others.

Outside, after the rains dried out and the afternoon sunshine emerged, music has been ringing through downtown all day. Hit the correct one of many stages, and fans have seen performances by: Jeff Cook, Steve Holy, Caitlin & Will, Katie Armiger, Heartland, James Otto, Ashton Shepherd, Heidi Newfield, Diamond Rio, Montgomery Gentry, and Phil Vassar among others.
