The Grammy Awards are coming up on Sunday night. In addition to the performers already announced, Sugarland and Taylor Swift will each get to take a turn on stage. Sugarland is nominated for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group and Best Country Collaboration with vocals for "Life in a Northern Town" with Little Big Town and Jake Owen. Taylor’s performance will be shared with Miley Cyrus, as the two friends duet “Fifteen,” a track from Fearless that Taylor wrote when her best friend Abigail had her heart broken at age 15.
Bucky Covington’s full USO Tour has been announced, and from the ad, it looks like the military is excited to have him. Bucky and his band will be traveling to German Army Garrison’s Kaiserslautern, Schweinfurt, and Stuttgart, Netherland’s Army Garrison Schinnen, and Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo later this month. "I've been looking forward to doing a USO tour for a very long time," Bucky said. "
The Netherlands look pretty, but Kosovo looks cold. The next season of Dancing With The Stars begins March 9th. The cast will be revealed this Sunday when host Tom Burgeron holds an all-night-name-drop between some of the most popular ABC shows. Emerging country star, Julianne Hough is not expected to return this season; however, her brother and current dancing champ, Derek Hough, is expected to be back to defend his title.
Then, just after the show starts, Derek and friend/fellow dancer Mark Ballas are releasing their debut album. Like the Osmonds (early hints say that Donny Osmond is doing Dancing this year) the Houghs are a family of many talents. The first single for pop-flavored Ballas Hough Band is called “Do It For You.” The album drops March 10th.
