Oh! Oh! Oh! The Flipside of Christmas '08.

The Country Station hopes Santa Claus was kind to you this year, and that you will continue to enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend.

The holiday increased James Otto’s lead in the Listener Poll looking for your favorite song of 2008. There’s a pretty close race going on for the remaining spots in next week’s finals, so keep voting all weekend.

With most country stars enjoying the holidays at home, news is pretty slim this time of year, but since Christmas is all about the kids, let’s share Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus’ visit to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville. Just shy of Christmas, Billy Ray Cyrus offered a $60,000 check to the Vanderbilt Eskind Diabetes Clinic on behalf of the non-profit Fraternal Order of Eagles. The father and daughter also signed autographs for the kids and sang Christmas songs with them. In addition, George Jones' wife, Nancy, delivered several hundred toys to the hospital following a toy drive at their home last week.
