One week to go! The Carnival Ride Tour rides into Las Cruces one week from tonight. According to Carrie Underwood’s fan website, 37 fans are attending. Some of the fans from Las Cruces and El Paso are even praying to God to grant their wishes to meet her. That's an awfully specific order. Rather than going straight to the top, perhaps if these fans were looking a little closer to home they may have a better chance of their wishes being granted. After all, The Country Station HAS TICKETS and a chance to sit in THE FRONT ROW and MEET CARRIE UNDERWOOD. Keep sending in your Carrie Underwood Campaign Signs! All signs must be submitted before final judging on Thursday, October 30th. The Carrie Underwood Carnival Ride Tour will be at the Pan Am Center on Monday, November 3rd. See all the contest details and some of the entries here.

He made his Grand Ole Opry debut on April 21, 2000. This past Saturday night, Craig Morgan was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. John Conlee did the honors. Watch it here:

Tim McGraw fans lined up 6 hours early and stretched a line down several New York City block to get a chance to have Tim and co-author Tom Douglas sign copies of their new children’s book, My Little Girl. One of the highlights of the day’s events happened with a young couple who had driven up from Virginia for the chance to meet Tim. When the couple got up to the author’s table, and Tim opened their book to sign it, he found a handwritten “will you marry me” note inside. Tim handed the card to the young woman and said, “I believe this is for you.” … And she said yes. Makes you wonder what the man will do when the day comes that the couple has their own little girl.

Dierks Bentley is blowing up his website this Wednesday night. No, he's not giving up on cyberspace. He’s improving it. Dierks held a special town hall meeting online with his fan club members last week, and among the exclusive information came the revelation that the website would be completely redesigned. An interim site will be put up with an interactive time line following the over two-year process of writing and recording the fourth studio album. The time line will be updated with new footage every Monday, leading up to the launch of a new site in early January.

Trace Adkins is going to appear in an upcoming episode of DIY’s series Indoors Out. Trace will work side-by-side with hosts Dean Marsico and Derek Stearns to build a rustic outdoor kitchen at his home outside Nashville. The episode films this week, and should air on November 24th, the night before his tenth album is released.
