A correction to yesterday’s report brings better news for Randy Travis fans. The new release Christmas on the Pecos will be a DVD rather than a CD. This will be Randy’s first holiday DVD, and it will include live performance shot at Carlsbad Caverns, stories from Randy, and a look at Carlsbad’s beautiful River of Lights Christmas tradition. The DVD is highlighted by spectacular footage of Randy performing “Silent Night” and “Rock Of Ages” in the cavern 850 feet underground.

Julianne Hough also plans a holiday release exclusively at Target, The Julianne Hough Holiday Collection will be out in October. Selections include "Jingle Bell Rock," "Feliz Navidad," "It Wasn't His Child/Mary Did You Know," "Santa Baby," "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," among others.

Other sniffs of new music include Brad Paisley and another song from Taylor Swift’s upcoming album Fearless. So far, fans have heard “Change” during the Olympics and on NBC, and the current single “Love Story.” “White Horse” is next when it is featured on tomorrow’s season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy. "You should've seen tears streaming down my face when I got the phone call that they were going to use that song," Taylor said. "I have never been that excited. My love of 'Grey's Anatomy' has never wavered. It's my longest relationship to date." Taylor has a dream to one day guest star in an episode of the popular TV show. About the song, Taylor continues, "It's one of the songs that I am really proud of on the record because it's so sparse — it's guitar, piano and cello. It talks about falling in love and the fairy tales that you are going to have with this person, and then there is that moment where you realize that it is not going to happen. That moment is the most earth-shattering moment."

For Brad Paisley’s part of the new music, he’s announced that Snoop Dogg will make a cameo on one of the new song on Play called “Kentucky Jelly.” The appearance returns the favor after Brad, Julianne Hough and Willie Nelson all had guest roles this summer on Snoop’s "My Medicine" video. Brad talks about getting Snoop into a studio called The Castle in Franklin, Tennessee, "Al Capone built the building in 1928 as a hideout and a gambling casino between Chicago and Miami, and it's a studio now. I was showing him around, showing him where there's a photo of Al Capone in one of the rooms. You know, this room has hand-blown Venetian glass, and all this stuff that they did back in the 20's. And as I was showing him I said, 'You guys think you're gangstas — this was a gangster.' And he started laughin'. He says, 'Yeah, you know what? You're right. He was the deal.’" Play releases on Election Day with other cameos by not-so-gangsta performers Vince Gill, Steve Wariner, Keith Urban and the late Buck Owens.

Hey all, cool news here - Julianne Hough is doing a blog on Fancast.com about Dancing with the Stars and it will go up after each show airs on ABC. She's providing some great behind-the-scenes stuff, as well as her thoughts about how the show went and the other contestants. She's looking for comments too, so if you've always wanted to ask Julianne a question or just make a comment that she will read, this is your chance! :)
