Fresh pics from today's Randy Travis concert at the Pan Am center: FOR MORE PICTURES, SEE THE PHOTO GALLERY ON THE STATION HOMEPAGE.
Randy Travis played to a moderate crowd enjoying the final activity of the Domenici Public Policy Conference. The enthusiastic crowd clapped and cheered for a majority of the numbers Randy performed throughout the show. Filled mostly with hits, Randy admitted that his career has been blessed with so many songs, he couldn't possibly do them all - or remember them all. The crowd was treated to two gospel numbers "Raise Him Up," and "Pray For The Fish," as well as two selections from his latest CD Around The Bend: "Everything That I Own (Has Got A Dent)" and the new single on The Country Station, "Dig Two Graves." At one point a fan hollered for "The Sopapilla Song," a request that Randy gladly obliged since he was in New Mexico. He stated that he does not normally sing that song live, and likely was making up a majority of the words. The performance came off well, and a bit of that performance can be seen below, for those that missed it in the Pan American Center. Saving the best for last, Randy closed the show with every one's favorite sing-a-long, "Forever And Ever, Amen." Joked key concert organizer Barbara Hubbard about the empty seats at a free concert, "next time we're going to charge a dollar."

My wife and I had to leave after the second Gospel song. We had a GREAT time. As always, Randy put on a fun filled show. I have always been a RT fan.
I would like also, to thank Pete Domenici for all the years he has been a public servant, serving the people of New Mexico proudly. May God bless him and his family for years to come.
I don't know all the people responsible for the FREE CONCERT, but my hat is off to you. Great job folks.
